Icy Fountain

Last evening, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences held its Regional Emmy Awards at The Schermerhorn Symphony Center. As we walked in, I noticed that water landing on the sculpture in this fountain had frozen over a bit. It's been very cold all week, although they were predicting that it will hit 60 degrees here today. I don't mean to disagree, but I think it is highly unlikely!

Go ahead and jump in that fountain. I double dare ya. So did it make it to 60 today? We are suppose to see 70 tomorrow.

That's a good shot. I'd think water - frozen - at night is difficult to photograph and how pretty it is.

That must have been a great evening.

Frozen fountains, now that's something you don't often see in France....

Very good the nightly reception and with so much cold, appears clean the bas-relief of ice.

Don't think I've ever seen a frozen fountain here. Quite a sight.
