Hard-headed Reader

Inside the Curris Student Center is this huge statue of a man reading a paper. Pretty interesting, no? He seems to be made from the same piece of wood as the bench.

Curris is also home to Student Services, the bookstore, several food venues, lounges, and more computers.

Tomorrow, we'll return to Nashville and look at an old springhouse.

I see you didn't freeze and are still publishing. We were colder than a turkey in the fridge.

I like the photo. Am guessing the artist made a bundle and the buyer is pleased.

That's a really cool sculpture. Wow. And what neat shots... like the guy running on the sidewalk... caught him in the air it looks like. Cool.

I love this. so solid and amazing piece of work. I've a stone person reading a book and love it. This sort of reminds me of it.

I found you through Marcel's Sitka Daily Photo in a round about way. I surfed back through October and found some wonderful photo of our fair city. Thanks for sharing our beautiful area.
Peace from a fellow Bellevue resident.
Channel 5 is my favorite news but I have to watch Prince as he likes to change over to channel 4.

He looks like he's sitting on the potty and reading the newspaper.

I was thinking of applying to MurrayState's low residency writing program upon graduation and ran across your blog. I currently live in Nashville as well!

Murray is my hometown and my family still lives there. It's interesting the things that other people notice about your hometown. I have a picture of myself at age seven scaling that giant carving in my jelly sandals. And I passed it everyday on my way to get coffee my freshman year of college.

But somehow, I'd completely forgotten it even existed until I saw this picture! I guess I had seen it for so many years, I'd never even thought someone might find it unusual.

I really like your blog: your snapshots and musings on Nashville and Murray as well.

Good luck with your thesis!
