More Construction Cranes

The other night I showed you a few construction cranes at night.  This is a crane at Rolling Mill Hill, which I showed you a bit ago (Click here.)  The mixed-use community is on the site of the old Metro General Hospital south of the downtown business district.  What amazes me is how HUGE this crane is.

I bet you had fun while you took these 'coz it showed in your post.

Have a great weekend chris.

It does make one wonder if there is some specific advantage to using such a huge crane when it doesn't seem like it needs one that big. Or perhaps that is the only one around that would life the load... I have posted a number of crane snaps on my Clearwater Beach Daily Photo blog.

We have had a number of crane accidents recently. And numerous people died in the incidents.

I would stay as far away from them as possible from now on.

You can sure tell this is a hill from this photo, Chris. One might expect it to be on somewhere like the White Cliffs of Dover, except for that crane.

Glad you've enjoyed my water tower photos. About the temp, Jim in Terrell, Texas, mentioned that it had been cooler--the 80s, too, I think--as had Mr. Lincoln in Brookville, Ohio. All topsy-turvy, isn't it?

Yep, when you get to see him, you hang on like MPs mom--me and you both, honey. Thankfully, my two sons eat it right up! I'm so thankful that we live in the same city now!
