Summer Reds and Greens

If you like peppers, head to the Nashville Farmers' Market right away!  The place is filled with red, green, yellow and purple peppers.  (You did read that correctly:  PURPLE peppers.)  We don't actually eat peppers, but I do love to photograph them.

Your Monday and Tuesday photos are so good, Chris. Great subjects, too.

Yumm, I would love to cut those up in my salad. Nice colors.

Lovely. I adore peppers - we get them here in all those colours. We also get what they call salad peppers - ie young ones, thinner skinned. Very nice too.

I love peppers! The red and yellow ones are great in salads. I only like to use the green ones in cooked dishes though because they tend to be bitter raw.

I have seen purple peppers, but I've never tried one. I'm sure they're delicious.

I love raw peppers, roasted peppers, pickled peppers and my latest discovery, Mediterranean pepper & eggplant dip. I get them at Greek/Turkish/Middle Eastern grocery stores. They go so nicely with baked pita chips. Yum!
