Old Barn Window

I happened to see this old barn window some time back.  I love how the peeling paint adds more  texture to the old wood.  If you look closely, you can see the back of a cow just peeking over the window sill.

I wonder how many kids watched through that window at the work being done in there. Maybe they were thinking one day I will be able to do that.

Hi Chris. I live in BC now but Nashville is my hometown. Thanks for the daily reminders!

A very simple and strong composition ...: the color, the geometry, and the texture are very nice.

Greetings from Bandung.

Very nice shot. It sort of reminds me of some of the early work of photographers at the beginning of the last century. I wonder how it would look in B&W?

Hee! I can see the cow rump!!! :D

This is a really lovely photo. I love the color and the old peeling paint does add texture. It looks like the kind of place that would be fun to explore. Or at least would offer a nice respite on a hot day.
