The other day, I featured Bentley, the American Lab, on his boat at Rock Harbor Marina. Today's SkyWatch is a shot of some of the the slips at the marina. Of course, the star of the photo is the sky, a brilliant blue that turned the brown Cumberland River into a sapphire jewel Sunday afternoon.
Each Friday, between 200 and 400 photo bloggers around the world celebrate the SKY. To get links to the other SkyWatch blogs, click here.

Nice shot of the harbor, nice place to spend some time at. Great sky
wow. i am lost for words so ill just say hello and thanks again for the visual treat. great job.
Marinas fascinate me and also make me envious. Would love to live in a place where I could have and use a boat all year round!
The reflections in your marina are very lovely. The blue of the sky is something I have not seen a lot of as I go around all the SWF blogs. Good post ....
Great sky and clear calm water, great day for the lake.
A neat and peaceful scene. A place to watch the traffic with a cup of coffee. Years ago it would be with a cup of coffee and a cigarette. Way back in the early 1990s. LOL
Nice photography.
How still clear and so blue does your harbour look to mine.Serene.
The reflections are just stunning!
Love you shot of the boat dock and the beautiful sky! Well done...
Very pretty. Nothing like a blue sky!
So, I am wondering with such a beautiful blue sky, why the water is so tranquil. Didn't anybody get the idea that this was the perfect day for boating?
For me the star is the smooth lake with lots of lovely boats waiting to go for a little drive. They need me to drive the boat!
(I'm a lake rat with no water access.)
I beg to differ, to me the star is that so aptly named sapphire jewel, the reflection of the sky. Beautiful variations on the blue theme.
