Not Quite Yet
Outside tables at Pei Wei present a good seating option if the weather is nice and the dining room is packed. And, as nice and sunny as the day appears above, the temperature was below 40 degrees when I took this photo the other day . . . not exactly the best weather for enjoying an open-air meal.
Nashville weather continues its roller coaster ride. Monday, the temperature reached the high 60s/low 70s. Tuesday, the temperature was in the 30s. Yesterday, the high was near 60. Today, we're expecting rain in the morning and snow in the afternoon.
Do you enjoy eating outside?

We seldom eat outside here. It is either snowing, ice, raining, or too cold.
Your photo is a reminder though, that warmer weather should get here sooner than later.
Right now we are dealing with another 10 to 12 inches of snow.
If it weren't for the fact that you mentioned the temperature I would say it was a lovely and warm day of spring to bask in the sun. There's little time left for nice weather to arrive so don't worry. It is a bit cold here too after a very warm winter.
I like outside eating, but thats usually where the smoking area is, cough, cough...We finally got a little bit of snow this morning.
Abe: My cousins tell me they have had 30 in. of snow this year in NE Ohio. I shouldn't complain, should I? :-)
Carlos: What you can't see in this photo is a reflection of me freezing to death to get this photo.
Jim: Yep. . .I don't like smoke, either.
I was going to say it must be chilling for no one to be sitting there. Looks like a nice place to sit and read.
I love eating outside, but with the humidity and mosquitos down here, we don't do it often.
Pois Chris, isso é que é ... comer ao ar livre!
As you know that's something portuguese and all southern europeans enjoy and that we much have. The "esplanadas" ... I guess you must also come back to enjoy our fish and wines!
Absolutely.
(Patios with parking lot views don't count, though.)
PS: Did you enable word verification recently?
Well, we can hope! Soon, very soon, please let it be spring enough to dine outside (which I DO love to do). Your photo of this grouping of tables and umbrellas looks really inviting!

I enjoy eating anywhere... ;))
but don't like the traditional northern European way of staying in the sun like lobsters while drinking Vinho Verde (a Portuguese wine, somehow sparkling) and eating grilled sardines... ;))
Have a great weekend!
I love eating outdoors...until it becomes beastly hot (Spring in Memphis last about 4 weeks :)
I hope that the snow is easy on y'all this time. We found this one very easy to get around in, and quite pretty!
I love eating outdoors when it's cool but not when it's warm and muggy.
Where are the smokers? In NYC, you would see a couple of them huddled together in their heavy coats sucking on their cigarettes.
Our town is very small and there is only one spot with outside eating. I don't like to eat outside there for a variety of reasons. The main one is its next to the road/highway and the big rigs that come through leave too much exhaust. Once inawhile when we go out of town we find a restuarant with a nice outdoor area.
