Silo

This silo is missing its barn. Located east of Nashville, it sits on a dirt road that's clost to a pretty busy intersection and across from a plaza and fast food restaurants.

I hope it doesn't get torn down someday. Sounds like progress is too close for comfort.

Chris, I love this barn and silo series! I have been slammed lately, but always look forward to catching up on your blog. And I LOVE barns. I tell you, I would collect them like people collect puppies if I could!

That would make an interesting home for the arts or something similar. It is bricked up or cement block and that is different and unique. I have never seen one made this way.

I agree with Oldmanlincoln... in Europe some old barns and windmills are now arts centers or even for tourism...

By the way, let me wish you a HAPPY NEW YEAR and that all of your dreams come true!
