Barn #6

This barn sits at the intersection of a country road and a highway. There are a few small houses down the road and not much of anything on the highway. I'm afraid one strong wind may one day take this poor barn.

Starting Wednesday, we'll drive down to Leiper's Fork, a small town just south of Nashville.

This barn is defying the laws of physics!

Hope you'll leave the barn long enough to enjoy the celebrations in FM tonight!

Happy New Year, Chris!

Looks like it's ready to fall down. Happy New Year!

I couldn't decide for theme day and am leaving it up to the votes. I narrowed my down to seven. Yikes! Hate to say I just couldn't pick one. Come take a look and put your vote in.

I think this is neat. And it is almost useless as it stands. I am wondering why somebody hasn't either torched it or used the wood at home in the kitchen cook stove.

Happy New Year.

Chris, enlarged to see all the wonderful color in this photo, it is breathtakingly wonderful. There is something appealing, always, about old barns - this one is quite a find. Happy New Year.
