
While driving around yesterday (Sunday), we saw this old chimney on a little rise on some farmland not too far from our house. I wonder if the chimney was part of a house at one time. . .
Look closely. The daffodils are blooming already!

Nice photo, any idea how old that chimney is? From the 1800's?
Wow. You are a month ahead of us here in Ohio. Our daffodils won't peek through until March and then towards the end. It does have more to do with the amount of sunlight striking the ground than the actual temperatures. And I think it is in the bulb's genes.

Our daffodils are out too! I love how they return year after year even after the homeplace is long gone.
