Holiday Lights II

Every year, Nashville holds a Holiday Lights contest and announces winners in five or six different regions.  I don't usually get to see them as I have no idea where most of them are, but the other night, we drove past one of the regional winners when we got off the freeway in an attempt to avoid a big traffic jam.  What luck!  I want to know how long it took them to put all these lights up!

By the way, the house I showed on Christmas Eve was another of the regional winners.

We have a holiday tradition of going out to look at Holiday lights. We would borrow our sons' dog Pooh Man Chew and take him along. Pooh liked Frosty and the Nativity scenes best. He would run back and forth in the back seat, from window to window barking only at those displays. How cute was he? Tonight we are going with another couple on an adventure to see lights we have not seen before. Later, we will stop and have a hot chocolate and chat a spell. This is one of our favorite things to do during the holidays. Enjoyed your holiday lights photographs. Thanks for sharing them.

Such grand displays on those two houses — no wonder they won in the contest!

I hope you and your family had a wonderful, joyous Christmas, Chris!
