My neighbor, Laura Heatherly, also decorated and donated a birdhouse to the auction. Hers was themed to the ever-popular Jonas Brothers. Not having a teenager, I know who these guys are, but I couldn't tell you a think about them.

A local business here has a wonderful flower bed at there entrance. A sign is posted saying these flowers are for the birds. Funny how a phrase can have multiple meanings ... My sister is big into bird houses as was my mother. It is apparently an enjoyable hobby and as your neighbor has done it can involve teenagers as well.
